Dear Julie Kay,
I have been following you on Facebook for years and have always found your tips incredibly helpful! I often shared these tips with the studio owner where I taught. My favorite was the preschool "Alligator Alligator All I-gator" and the heel-ball with heel-stand combo.
I then invested in CLI so I could continue to learn from you beyond just tap. Last summer, I was fortunate enough to meet you in a small, intimate setting. It was like meeting my superhero! At that time, I was just two weeks away from opening my own school and was a nervous wreck. Thanks to your guidance and information, I was able to gain confidence and had a fantastic first year.
What I love most about your approach to tap is that you make it so much fun! Your worksheets were incredibly useful. I customized them to fit what we were working on, displayed them in the lobby, and handed them out to students. The added bonus was that parents could see what we were learning.
I am excited to dive into more tap studies with you.
With love and appreciation

Growing up I was trained in all styles except for tap. Early in my teaching career I tried to teach myself beginner tap and learned the basics. I never really progressed much with my tap terminology until Julie Kay came into my life. Her tap teaching made so much sense to me. I started following all of her combos and teaching videos and can say confidently that she is the reason why I can teach tap now! I now absolutely love tap and am very grateful to Julie Kay and cannot wait to learn even more through Tap Roots so I can grow and my students can grow as well!
